Jan -- yes documents with conflicting information not uncommon.
First try to see if maybe a transcribed error or maybe duplicate created later.
Had original 1819 document with baptism 27/03/1819 yet on copy 1910 baptism 04/03/1819 . I wpuld choose original document.
Names do vary often on different documents , baptisms ,marriages or DN's as well.
Often extra names or different spelling as well.
Why I believe the originals always better than any transcribed document.
Basic common sense must also prevail like 5 year old mothers or dead mothers having children.
