~MY ANCESTOR~ Sarah was the daughter of WILLIAM & MARGARET (PRITCHARD) PARKER. She married DEACON JOSEPH PECK, son of the New Haven founder, DEACON WILLIAM PECK, on 28 Nov 1662 in Hartford, Hartford, Conn.

Sarah & Joseph were the parents of 8 known children: SARAH (PECK) GILBERT MOSS, wife of MATTHEW GILBERT, JR., my ancestor; Elizabeth Peck Pratt; DEBORAH (PECK) SPERRY, wife of LIEUT. DANIEL SPERRY, also my ancestors; Hannah (Peck) Anderson; Ruth Peck Griffin; Samuel Peck; & Joseph Peck.



~MY ANCESTOR~ The daughter of DEACON JOSEPH PECK and Sarah (Parker) Peck, she married MATTHEW GILBERT, JR. on May 2, 1684 in Lyme, New London, Conn. After his death, she married Joseph Moss on July 1711 in New Haven, Conn.

Her will of April 30, 1730, bequeaths her property to her children by her first husband, Matthew Gilbert, Jr. of New Haven, naming them as Joseph, Danile and my ancestor, DAVID GILBERT... her daughter, Sarah Morris and granddaughter, Elizabeth Todd. Inscription:

Mrs. Sarah Moss Relict of Mr. Joseph Moss Dyed April Ye 4: 1730 Aged 67 Years.
