Died circa 1900 so we do not have another census. It appears that Abigail died by 1880 and Allen's neice and nephews, the Tomkins children were staying with him. Notation from profile manager - Alfred's aunt Martha Skipper Tompkins may be the mother or grandmother of these children. SFG
