Michael Hicks' theory that Dame Margaret (Fitzlewis) Lucy was the mistress of Edward IV of England who bore him the daughter that he married off to Thomas Lumley, is not likely to ever be able to be proved. But, for me at least, it has enough aspects which fit together nicely with the known chronology, that I find it worthwhile to present it in my database as the most plausible scenario.
