Janet Hay was the daughter of Sir William Hay of Lochorwart and Yester and Alice de la Haye. She married Sir Alexander Home of Home and Dunglas, son of Sir Thomas Home of that Ilk and Nicole Papedy.1 She was also known as Jean.1 Her married name became Home.1
