About Helene "Helli" Bouhler

Helene "Helli" (Mayer) Bouhler, was born in Lauingen on the 20th April 1912 and she was known as "schönste Frau der Reichskanzlei" (prettiest woman of the chancellory). She married Bouhler on the 18th August 1934 and they had no children. She was also a friend of Herman Göring and the Bouhlers were with him at Fischhorn Castle in May 1945. She committed suicide soon after her arrest, possibly by jumping from a high window of the castle. Helene is now buried at Waldfriedhof München cemetery.
