Elizabeth (Thorndike) Proctor (1632-1672) was the second wife of John Proctor, who was executed as a witch during the Salem Witch Trials. The daughter of John Thorndike and Elizabeth Stratton, Elizabeth was born about 1641 at Salem, Essex County, Massachusetts. In December 1662, she married John Proctor, with whom she had seven children. Elizabeth became ill shortly after the birth of her last son, Thorndike Proctor, and she died at about 31 years of age on 30 August 1672 in Salem.
Unconfirmed listing; please note that birthdates are unusually close together, and the name of the third child, Martha Mary, is probably incorrect as middle names were not in use at that place and time.
