Amasa Seth Russell

We need to locate a library that has The Boston Transcript

Name: Amasa Russell
Birth Date: 1793
Birthplace: Vermont
Volume: 151
Page Number: 75
Reference: Gen. Column of the " Boston Transcript". 1906-1941.( The greatest single source of material for gen. Data for the N.E. area and for the period 1600-1800. Completely indexed in the Index.): 29 May 1935, 425

A photocopy of the article would be great

The Sons of the Revolution Library in Glendale, California, had the Boston Transcript. That library has closed. I will try to locate the new location of their holdings.

Is this good enough:
http://books.google.com/books?id=YrqOBe1AHBMC&dq=the+boston+tra...
prob. not, it is a preview.

List of libraries...

I get up to Vermont a lot if we find a place ...

That's a bummer about the library. Although I am in VA but my sister is in CA. We were working on getting our DAR applications done.

@Teddy... I looked at that one on Google books. Thanks for the link to the WorldCat I was tired last night and trying to think of it. Just what I was looking for. I was thinking the DAR library probably has it but couldn't remember the site link that lists all libraries

The Sons of the Revolution Library is NOT closed as I had thought. However, their Boston Transcript information is boxed and has not been sorted or indexed. (No one knows what became of the bound volumes I used to use!)The New England Historical and Genealogical Society has microfilm of the Transcript. Perhaps they would make a photocopy and send it to you? Or someone who lives in the Boston area could go there. Non-members must pay $10 to use the library.
