Up until now, I've not encountered errors in the tree that I could not fix all by myself. But this one has been driving me crazy. I just can't figure out what the heck is going on.
According to my own research from many years ago (which, of course, could be wrong in places), the following things appear to be true:
1) I believe the correct parents for Agnes Bardolf (Grandison) 1289-1357 are: William Grandison 1250-1335 and Blanche Grandison (Savoy) 1267-1323.
2) Agnes Bardolf (Grandison) 1289-1357 was married to Lord Thomas Bardolf 1282-1328. They had a daughter named Margaret Eleanor Welles (Bardolf) 1314-1363.
3) William Grandison 1250-1335 (my 24th Great Grandfather) also had a spouse named Sybil Grandison (Tregoz) 1271-1334. But Sybil was NOT the mother of Margaret Eleanor Welles (Bardolf) 1314-1363.
The problem is that when I try to reconcile the errors (yellow triangles starting with Margaret Eleanor Welles (Bardolf) 1314-1363, everything goes badly- resulting in Margaret and/or Agnes having wrong or duplicate parents.

The software tells me that I cannot break any of what I believe to be wrong relationships because it would split the tree.
I spent 12 hours staring at this, and have come to the conclusion that I think I need somebody else to take a fresh look at it.
I am hoping that you, the managers of all or most of the profiles in question, might be able to help.
