Wikipedia does not list a king of Mercia called Cuthbeorht. It lists him as the son of Cuthbert, a Mercian nobleman who was not a king. Admittedly the names are similar. Cuthbeorht is listed as the son of Bassa, who has no internet presence, apart from geni.com.
