Why is GGpa name just Baldwin, and not Baldwin III, Count of Hainaut on his Birth name?
This is my 26th GGpa. And I would like to know his Birth Name. And Just Baldwin is not going to cut it.
As I research him, they all call him "Baldwin III, Count of Hainaut". And I do not understand why his Daughter (my 25th GGma) last name is Hainault. (Spelled with an L in it)?
