Is there an API for adding/editing additional profile fields?

I would like to make the following application.
I know my Y-haplogroup and MT-haplogroup.
I would like to add an additional profile field to myself (for example, "Y-HG: N1c1-CTS1737").
Then I would like to add a same profile field to my father, brothers, father's brothers and the entire male line.
And similarly - the mitochondrial haplogroup (MT-HG: H13a) along the female line.
But I did not find any mention in the API documentation of how additional profile fields could be added/edited.
Is there an API for this?

I dont understand: When you connect your FTDNA test to your profile both the Y and MT-haplogroup is propagandized to your family.
You should not do that manually as you have done.

You control that on the https://www.familytreedna.com/my/partner-applications page for the kit number
Also remember: if you upgrade a kit you should disconnect and reconnect the kit to the Geni profile on that page.

It is great. But i have not FTDNA test. My DNA test made in other company: Genotek.
