After more than 15 years of research, I have finally obtained some information about the ancestors of (Petrus) Joseph Auguste PEETERS (1889-10-30), specifically his roots in Belgium. I have not been able to confirm his place of death. His US passport applications state his name as Joseph August PEETERS.
He was married to Emma U de PAEPE, however, her records remain elusive. She was (I am told) one of four sisters. She married Joseph Auguste in 1919 (war-bride). I have found records of her leaving Europe on a US war-bride ship for the US in August 1919.
