Cynthia Curtis, A183502, US7875087 it's possible if the DNA was propagated up and down the tree from another male line, for example if Camp's paternal grandfather had a brother who had a son who had a son who had a son who was tested.
The DNA tab on that profile explains this much:
Merritt Rickman Camp is presumed to carry DNA based on test results from other relatives in the family tree:
R1b1a2from 1 relative
Private User. R1b1a2 from Family Tree DNA
clicking on the "View Detail" link to the right takes you to a page where you're supposed to be able to see the propagation, but in this case that appears broken: https://www.geni.com/list/dna_to?focus_id=6000000119972656833&dna_test_type=y
(like maybe that private user was connected along a male line that got cut; the system is supposed to automatically recalculate the propagated DNA when this happens)
I'll see if I can identify the private user and repropagate his Y-DNA, which should fix the problem.
