All descendants of Ancient Planters are invited to join the Order of Descendants of Ancient Planters, a National lineage Society. Please see the Order's website and contact the registrar by e-mail for information. The Order meets in Raleigh, NC in the spring and in Williamsburg, VA in the fall. All descendants whose lineage is approved is welcome. Ancient Planters were the very first approximately 165 people to settle in Virginia between 1607-1616. Ancient Planters were honored and revered and given special privileges. The Order honors them.
