There was a large Litvak immigration to SA which I became interested in because so many of us Litvak Jews have up-to-now undiscovered South African branches of our family. I'm hoping that some of the SA Geni members want to help with resources and research in this area. It's a perfect area for a dedicated project.

I do have some resources and have a lot of experience using various Jewish genealogy sites.

Hi Hatte
I live in Cape Town and can get to the archives here. Their online address is - http://www.national.archives.gov.za

I look forward to working on SA Litvaks. Currently I am on vacation without a computer. I'll be home in a few days. Thank you everyone!
