Soots Genealogy and Soots Family History Information

The 'Soots' sir name originated in Germany as 'Sutz'. It has since morphed into Soots and Suits, among others. One of the first German immigrants to arrive in America with the sir name Sutz was Johanne Jacob Sutz who arrived on a ship named Ann in 1749. He had a large family that has since branched out over much of the United States.
