MY Mclaughlin was married to my grandfather John Walter Downes,,annie Mclaughlin
My dad married my mother Irene Lessard in Thetford Mines Quebec,where I also was born.My dad had 1 brother Gilbert Downes and Katie (Downes)Cameron,Sally (Downes)Finn. They might have had 2 other sisters but I/m not sure,,being searching for over 20 yrs..getting close but no cigar,I'm 70 yrs old now and my brother Walter Downes Jr. is 72.We'll probably never know. I hope that ther'e Downes and Mclaughlins in Eastern townships reading this,,adownes4@cogeco.ca
