Deborah Chadwick was born 20 May 1748 so they say but I have also seen 1767,I also find she was born in Sidney,ME but I believe more likely Nantucket,MA.She died 1807,md/Obadiah Butler of Sidney Me.Deborah was the Minister for Women of the Quaker Meetings.
The reason I believe in the 1840 her birthdate was 1767 instead of 1748 is She would have been 52 yrs.old when her dgt.Athiel was born and Othiel (Male or Female)? was born after Deborah had died. in the 1840 census she would have been 92 years old. I am very perplexed as to the correct information.
Deborah Chadwick Butler was my 4th gr.Grandmother.Her son Stephen Butler was born july 15,1795 in Sidney ME. He md/Sarah Hammond Stephen and Sarah Butler had myGr.GR.Grandmother Lucy weeks Butler (TAYLOR).Deborah Chadwick Butler is buried in the Quaker Cemetery in Sidney .
