About William LeRoy 'Bill' Cornett
Was heavy mechanic during WW-II, spent some time in Alaska during mini-gold rush, and some prospecting with father in Arizona. Became teacher after back injury. Collected minerals; avid photographer. Jack-of-all-trades; what ever he set his mind to, he could do (except sing). Doris's first view of Bill was his feet - sticking out from under a tractor he was working on -- at a Neely farm. (See more at his Mother's Neely Project.)
