About William Guillaume Anglin, Sr.
https://theycametothemountains.blogspot.com/p/anglin.html
He moved several times. He bought land near/on Dan Creek, Pittsylvania moved to where a few children married, then onto what is today across the river from Philippi WV aka Anglinford ca 1790. His DNA carries a mutation making it easy to place a male Anglin in his branch. He was often confused with the William Anglin in Caswell NC because they were about the same age and the other William lived near this William's siblings. A common mistake years ago when folks guessed. That mistake is NOW all over the internet and will likely never be completely corrected as long as we have idiots who never document but just just and paste false info. Like here they have the father as Adrion. Yet in his OWN hand writing on his will he says Adrian. So simple, yet so caustic. Plus the story about France has been debunked. Adrian was not even in the Navy let alone an Admiral. I know who started that tripe...Thank you Dr Dan Numbnuts. He said he went to France and found proof...Proof that he was an idiot who just wanted some "fame" in his tree.
