Thomas Harris, son of Thomas Harris and Mary Giles, was b: 1712 in Hanover County, Virginia, and died 16 Feb 1784 in Virginia.

"TW Harris: Thomas Harris born near "The Forks" of the Pamunkey River. He moved to Amelia Count in 1748 settling on lands between Falling Creek and Buffalo River. This became part of Prince Edward County in 1754. There are recordings of contributions to the revolutionary army dated 1780 and 1781. There are land dealings dated as early as 1723. Patent Book XI, page 223."

About 1712 – Thomas Harris, Jr. son of Capt. Thomas Harris and Mary Giles, is born at The Forks in New Kent County, Virginia. He would later marry Elizabeth Lindsey and they would have several children, including Judith, Elizabeth, Sherwood, Peter, John, and David.
1784 – Thomas Harris, Jr., son of Capt. Thomas Harris, Sr. and Mary Giles, writes his will in Prince Edward County, Virginia. In it he names children; David, John, Peter, Sherred/Sherrod, Elizabeth, and Judith. He also named his wife, Elizabeth.
