1800 Legatees of William Crenshaw, deceased, sell land to Thomas Nuckolls - Louisa, Virginia deed book J, pages 107-108. Nicolas Crenshaw and Mary his wife are former owners of the land being sold in this deed. Legatees seem to be the children and grandchildren of William Crenshaw.

sell two tracts of land in Louisa County to Thomas Nuckolls for 493 pounds. The first tract, containing about 300 acres, is "the tract of land conveyed to William Crenshaw, dec'd, by Nicolas Crenshaw and Mary his wife" in a deed dated 11 August 1783, and is bounded by "the lands lately the property of Col Richard Anderson, called Glenn's tract" and others, and the second tract containing 95 acres is "the tract of land conveyed to Wm. Crenshaw by John Winston and Mary his wife" on 10 May 1790.
