Vanderbilt - On Monday, Aug. 17, Sophia J. Vanderbilt, wife of Cornelius Vanderbilt, in the 74th year of her age. The relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend her funeral from her late residence, No.10 Washington-place, on Wednesday morning, Aug. 19 at 10 o'clock. Her remains will be taken to Staten Island for interment. Services at the Moravian Church. Carriages will also be in attendance at Vanderbilt Landing.
