About Sir Richard Corbet, of Moreton
Sir Richard - settled at Moreton Toret following the marriage, and the name of the manor was changed to Moreton Corbet, by which name it is still known today.
Thomas the pilgrim's son, Roger, was father of Sir Richard Corbet, who married Joanna Turet, the heiress of Moreton Corbet. The Wattlesborough Corbets seem shortly to have deserted that less genial spot, and to have made Moreton their chief residence.
