Philip Le Despencer was the son of Philip Le Despencer. He was born in 1329 in Nettlestead, Gloucestershire, England. and married Joan Strange. The Complete Peerage of England (1890 Edition)lists Philip (2) was the son of Philip and Margaret Goushill. He had no Title, and appears to have died before 1350 (Vol 3, P 96). Philip was the father of Philip Le Despencer 1st Baron Le Despencer.
