Notes by Mattheus van Leuven GODEFROI de Louvain, son of GODEFROI VII Duke of Lower Lotharingia, Duke of Louvain, Comte de Brabant & his second wife Imagina van Looz (-[2 Jan 1225/16 Apr 1226]). The primary source which confirms his parentage has not yet been identified. He went to England in 1196.
m (after 1199[123]) as her second husband, ALICE de Hastings, widow of RALPH de Cornhill, daughter and heiress of ROBERT de Hastings & his wife Mathilde de Flamville.
