About Sarah Peck
Sarah and Josephs gravestones are still standing in the old Lyme cemetary. Updated 5/7/2015: I have very little to go on at this time.
~MY ANCESTOR~ Sarah was the daughter of WILLIAM & MARGARET (PRITCHARD) PARKER. She married DEACON JOSEPH PECK, son of the New Haven founder, DEACON WILLIAM PECK, on 28 Nov 1662 in Hartford, Hartford, Conn.
Sarah & Joseph were the parents of 8 known children: SARAH (PECK) GILBERT MOSS, wife of MATTHEW GILBERT, JR., my ancestor; Elizabeth Peck Pratt; DEBORAH (PECK) SPERRY, wife of LIEUT. DANIEL SPERRY, also my ancestors; Hannah (Peck) Anderson; Ruth Peck Griffin; Samuel Peck; & Joseph Peck. Inscription: Mrs. Sarah, Relict of Joseph Peck, deacon, died September 14, 1726, aged 90 years.
