About Roger le Strange, 4th Baron Strange

Roger Lestrange, 4th Lord Strange (of Knockyn) was born on 15 August 1301. He was the son of John Lestrange, 2nd Lord Strange (of Knockyn) and Iseult (surname unknown). He married, firstly, Maud (surname unknown). He married, secondly, Joan de Ingham, Baroness Ingham, daughter of Oliver Ingham, 1st Lord Ingham, before 25 March 1344. He died on 29 July 1349 at age 47, without further issue.
Roger Lestrange succeeded to the title of 4th Lord Strange, of Knokyn on 28 May 1323. In 1326 he inherited the estates of his uncle Ebles Lestrange, 1st and last Lord Lestrange. He was invested as a Knight Banneret in January 1326/27. He was was serving abroad in the Hundred Years War in 1347.
