Roger de Bosville of Oxmuir

Adam de Bosville de Oxmuir, &c., who is mentioned in an obligation of Philip de Lochore, the 21st year of the reign of King Alexander the Second (1235). His son and successor, Roger de Bosville, got a charter of the lands of Oxmuir from that monarch.

Roger's son, William de Bosville of Oxmuir, &c., was witness in a donation to the monastery of Soltray by Bernard do Houden, in the reign of King Alexander the Third.
