Robert Staunton

~The Visitations of Essex, 1558, pp. 100-101, Thomas Stauton, of Essex, is given as the son of Hugh Staunton of Essex and the husband of Katherin, daughter and heir to John Fitz Simond. Thomas and Katherine are the parents of Janne, who married John Sharpe of Maulden, son of Henrey Sharpe and Margaeret, daughter of Sir John Tey. 678
