John Baucom, b 1725 at Baltimore MD, was the son of Nicholas Baucom and Mary․ John’s will․ mentions wife Rachel b abt 1735 at Baltimore․ They are NOT the same John and Rachel of North Carolina. Not the same Y DNA as the North Carolina Baucom. Researcher note per James E. Baucom Jr.

Researcher Note by Timothy W Thomas:

"This Rachel was named Rachel Ellen Barker not Rachel Petrie Barker. Rachel Petrie Barker and Rachel Ellen Barker were third cousins, I think.

But another note I have heard that Rachel was related to the Millikans and Brattons. If you do you sling shotting around families you notice that the Barkers, Pankeys and Bristows and Richardsons are related.

You got go outside the normal circles!!!! When you go out of Wake Co, North Carolina. You got to go to South Carolina and find out about the Barkers in South Carolina."
