It states in the book written for youth, "The Light from the West" by Selig Schachnowitz b 5634/1874 (the English translated version published by Feldheim Publishers 5729/1969), which is a biography of https://www.geni.com/people/ר-משה-סופר-הת-ם-סופר/6000000001398290180 Rav Moshe Sopher the Chatam Sopher that the name of the wife of Rav Nathan was Rachel who was the pious daughter of Rabbi Feist Cohen. She is also mentioned in the Jewish Encyclopedia (and no doubted copied from there to the wiki page).

Similarly to what is documented in the links above, the book also documents that Rav Nathan Adler headed this yeshiva in the gasse in Frankfurt and this was the yeshiva in which the Chatam Sopher started learning (see the Geni profile of the Chatam Sopher). In 1782 Rabbi Nathan Adler was called to the rabbinate of Boskowitz (Boskovice), Moravia, Austrian Habsburg (now Boskovice, Czech Republic) and Rabbi Sofer followed him.

This book - based on early 20th century weekly journal "Der Israelit" edited by the original German speaking author of the book., according to the preface - documents the events as that although the Rabbi of the established community, Rav Pinchas Horowitz (who is actually from a more Chassidic/Lurianic upbringing as his family name indicates, but was much in favour of the Frankfurt established community of which he headed maintaining its customs) tried to make peace, he eventually suggested to Rav Nathan that he leave Frankfurt and take up the Boskowitz position. He was planning on his wife to join him when he settles down, but because it was not so easy for him in this new community being a "German" - an outsider, he soon went back to his old community of Frankfurt and to his wife who in the end did not follow him. (And at that stage, the still relatively young Moshe Sopher went his own way to marry and start his official rabbinical career).
