Jablonow Hasidim

David Tsvi hist oldest son (?-1882), the pupil of Menachem Mendel Morgenshtern of Kotsk, founded a Chasidic group in Jablonowo, and a grandson of Yechezkel Taub of Jablonowo settled in Palestine in 1925 with a Chasidic group. He founded an agricultural community ruled by religious laws in the Ezekiel Valley. 

Taub Dynasty Kuzmir Chasidic Court

Around the year 1827, a former merchant from Plonsk, Ezekiel ben Tzvi-Hirsh Taub (d. 1857), one of the disciples of the Seer of Lublin, was drawn to Kazimierz and a Chasidic court was formed around him. One can say that Taub's views corresponded to the "artistic" atmosphere which prevailed in Kazimierz. He advocated the affirmation of life, nature and the Lord. His motto: "Icannot feel the joy of the Sabbath without a new melody", was a call for the creation of new Chasidic songs. Many of the tunes composed by Taub have survived to this day. The tzaddik is buried in the old cemetery (now a school playground). His beautiful tomb, along with the cemetery, did not survive the Second World War.

Ezekiel ben Tzvi Taub founded a Chasidic group known as Kuzmir Chasidim and the Taub dynasty created several branches in central Poland, all linked by a common doctrine. David Tzvi (d. 1882) was leader of the Jablonowo Chasids and Shmul Eliyahu (d. 1888) leader of those from Zwolen. Moshe Aaron Taub (d. 1918) operated in Nowy Dwor Mazowiecki, Chaim Taub (d. 1942) in Warsaw and Mlawa and Eliezer Shlomo (d. 1938) in Wolomin.

Many of the Kazimierz Chasids emigrated from Poland and survived the Second World War. Ezekiel Taub from Jablonowo left for Palestine together with a group of followers as early as 1925. There they founded an agricultural settlement. The last Kazimierz tzaddik was Shmul Eliyahu Taub of Deblin (1905–1984). After the war he moved to Tel Aviv.

האדמו"ר רבי דוד צבי טויב (טאוב) מניישטאט בנו הבכור של רבי יחזקאל מקוז'מיר. נולד ב נפטר ב-ו' תמוז תרמ"ג הספר "הרבי מקאצק וששים גבורים סביב לו", שנערך ע"י יחזקאל רוטנברג ומשה שנפלד, נפתח בחייו ופעולותיו של רבי דוד צבי. הפרק המספר עליו,מקדיש חלק ממנו להסבר על פירוש המושג "ל"ו צדיקים",מהו "צדיק נסתר" ומהו "צדיק נגלה". רבי דוד צבי גילם באישיותו את הצדיק הנסתר. היה איש ישר,הולך תמים עם אנשים ואלוהים,העושה לפנים משורת הדין ולעולם לא "יקוב הדין את ההר",יחיד סגולה בדורו,היודע לכבוש את תאוותו ולשמור את בריתו.ייחסו לו כח אלוהי גדול והשפעתו על חסידיו גדלה מיום ליום במהלך חייו. הצליח לעמוד בצל,ברח מפרסום וניסה לשכנע בזה את חסידיו. היה עלוי בתורה ובספרות החסידית הוא מתואר בתואר :"גאון אמיתי כחד מקדמאי,צבי ישראל ותפארתו,מופת הדור".אף שלא היה עשיר,היה ביתו פתוח לכל דורש ,תמך במיעוטי יכולת והחשיב כל לומד תורה מבלי ללשים לב להשתייכותו.(חסיד או מתנגד). היה מקבוצת החסידים בקרובה ביותר לרבי מקאצק ויחד עם זאת,סירב לבקשתו להנהיג את קהילתו באמרו כי אינו מבין גדול בתורה... היה אהוב על גדולי הדור ועם ידידיו הקרובים נמהו רבי יצחק זליג,האדמו"ר מסוקולוב,הרי"ם,מייסד חסידות גור,רבי אברהם לנדוי,הצדיק מטשכנוב ורבי אברהם בורנשטיין,הצדיק מסוחשטוב.רק עם פטירתו של הרבי מקאצק,נעתר והנהיג את עדת חסידיו שהתרחבה מאוד. היה רגיל ללמוד תורה עם בנו יחידו הרב,רבי יוסף טויב שנפטר בדמי ימיו וכשגדלו בניו: הרב רבי יעקב הצדיק מיאבלונה ואחיו רבי יחזקאל,למד איתם.
