R' Joshua Feiwel Teomim-Fraenkel, Dayan and Rabbinical Assessor in Chodziesen (Kolmar)

(Rabbi) Joshua Feiwel Teomim-Fraenkel, b. Lissa, c1782; d. at Chodziesen, Kolmar, Posen [Poland], 1840. He was a well-known Rabbi, Rabbinical Assessor, and Dayan at Chodziesen for many years. According to the History of the Jews in Lissa, he was a close friend of the renowned Rabbi, Akiba Eger. He is listed in a book of prominent rabbis as: Teomim, Josua Feibel. Known also by his civil name of Philip Frankel.

He m. Sara Boaz, b. 1778, d. Chodziesen, 1840. With his son Abraham, he was naturalized on 7 Jan 1835.
