Nicholas Bourden and Prudence Wrenn, relict of John Wrenn, were married in Isle of Wight County, Virginia, before 1738 (The Marriages of Isle of Wight County, Virginia, 1628-1800 by Blanche Adams Chapman, page 5

His parents are not known. She was the daughter of John Davis and Mary Green.

Notes

The Will of Mary Davis recorded 23 Jan 1720 names daughter Prudence, grandson William, son Samuel. Requests Captain James Day and her brother William Greene to assist Prudence as executrix of the will. Witnesses: William Greene, Sarah Murray, and Thomas Davis.[2]

Will of Brother Thomas Davis d. 1734 mentions sister Prudence Wrenn.

The will of Samuel Davis dated Nov 16 1738 named legatees: wife Amy; son John; son Samuel, land at Meherrin; daughter Mary; daughter Sarah; daughter Amy; daughter Marcella. Wife Executrix. Brother John Davis and brother-in-law Nicholas Bourden to collect all debts. Witnesses: John Davis, John Gemmill, N. Bourden, & Thomas Murry. Recorded: Jan 28 1738/39.

Administration of the estate of John Wrenn recorded March 1, 1749 signed by Prudence, his wife.
