About Princess Charlotte of Wales

Princess Charlotte of Wales is third in line to the throne behind her father (Prince William, Prince of Wales) and her elder brother (Prince George). Prince George's sister will be the "spare to the heir," and, like her uncle Prince Harry and her great-uncle the Duke of York, will have to define her role as a modern royal. She would only become queen if Prince George predeceased her without having any living descendants. As a result of the Perth Agreement, which replaced male-preference primogeniture with absolute primogeniture, Charlotte maintained her place in the line of succession following the birth of her younger brother, Prince Louis.

The Princess was born at 8lbs 3oz (3.7kg), on the 02-05-2015 at St. Mary's Hospital, Paddington, Westminster in London.
