Paz Bajarias-Wong

She was the first female mayor of Dalaguete after winning the only mayoralty election in 1980. She served as Dalaguete mayor for 11 years, then as provincial board member of Cebu. She also served as president of the Cebu Pharmacists Association for 14 years. She served as director for research & development (R&D) of International Pharmaceuticals, Inc, (IPI), which was put up by her husband and brothers-in-law. She served as director of the Philippine Institute of Traditional and Alternative Health Care (PITAHC) as a presidential appointee of President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.
