His grandfather was mentioned as follows: He was listed as a tithable for himself on the Lancaster Parish Tax Roll of 1700. which mean his monther was native and of the area where his father was boundaried by the Cheroenhaka reservaton of 41,000 acres to the north of this Williams, of the 400 acres of land in the profile picture. Many generations of Williams' lived on this land until Choctaw Bill Williams guided his group to Waccamaw in SC and sold his Nottoway land. Listed on the Lancaster Parish Tax Roll 1700 where he paid taxes upon his being a "tithable" or a poll tax based on skin color charged of free people of color of various shades.
