Sources- Anton Ridenour Descendants by Ron Gephart, 2001 18th Century Emigrants from the Northern Alsace by Annette K. Burgert 1992 emigrated on the ship Robert & Alice in 1736 to Philadelphia

Nicholas married Maria Magdalena Arnet and had 10 children. His second wife was Rosina Kershner. Nicholas with his 100 acres called "Ridenour's Pond" and John Hager and others founded Hagerstown, MD.
