The Thankful and Joseph Problem

• Other than a child born to a Nathaniel Edwards and Thankful named Joseph, there is seems to be little support that Nathaniel ever married a Thankful. A marriage of this Nathaniel to one named Thankful seems implausible. Birth records for a Joseph Edwards (see FamilySearch A and FamilySearch B do show these two names as parents of Joseph. However, this Nathaniel was still married to Elizabeth. However, the two documents appear to be later-after-the-fact penned documents.
• Therefore, might Wikitree have a point in putting forth a first marriage of Nathaniel to Thankful c.1682? If so, might said marriage have been recollected by those who penned the documents, and they then incorrectly assigned Joseph to said Thankful instead of Elizabeth? Or did the document drafters get the birth year wrong?
• It may be that Nathaniel never married Thankful and that Joseph was fathered in an adulterous liaison. These ideas are all a stretch, but so it seems to be that another Nathaniel Edwards was the father of said Joseph born 19 March 1698 in Northampton.
• Some people have tried to force-connect a Joseph as a child of Hepzibah, which one chronicler mistakenly did.

A Chronicler vs Birth Record Absence RE Experience

• There's no legitimate record of birth for Experience Parsons or Experiance Wright to Hepzibah Janes. If an Experience were a twin of Lydia or Daniel, her record of birth c.1690 would have been included with either the sourced births as a twin of a Thankful or of Hepzibah. Such is not the case.
• There are marriage records for an Experience having married a Jonathan Wright in 1708 at FamilySearch, but no record of birth to Nathaniel and a presumed first wife. Provably, who were her parents?
