There is no documentary evidence showing the name of Fornjot's wife or wives.

A number of trees have the name "Gonnor Gorretsdatter" in this spot, but there is no evidence showing that this has any basis.

Some also have "Gerd Gymersdatter", which makes no sense, since Gerd was her grandchild (if we accept the theory that Hler = Gymer).

Date and place of birth have been reported to be circa 165 in Finland.
