About Moses van Neuss Guggenheim
NOTE: Is there a source for the use of Guggenheim as a name on this profile?
Everything older than 1530 or so is only "plausible hypothesis". The most recent research was published by John Berkowitch in the revue du CGJ. Sources include ELE TOLDOT by Schlomo Ettlinger, and also Horowitz and Dietz.
An Eleazar son of the erudit Moses was assessor at the Jewish tribunal in Prague in 1497.
A Moses of Neuss is seen on the Rhein at Bingen in 1446 and at lorch after 1460 until 1470.
