About Mary Phinney


Biography

Mary Rickard, a daughter of John Rickard III (b. 1684 - d. 1745) and his wife Sarah, was born 4 October 1709 in Plympton, Massachusetts, and died there on 11 September 1760.

She married on 9 January 1735 in Plympton to Joseph Phinney. He was born on 10 April 1709 in Plympton, the son of Joseph Phinney (d. 29 June 1726) and his wife Esther West.

Mary was Joseph Phinney's first wife. He married 2ndly to Alice Hackett on 14 January 1762 in Taunton, and died on 21 December 1795, at age 86, in Raynham.
