Mary Patton

Mary Horine is belived to be the wife of Thomas Patton. 8 children were born to this union. I believe that Mary had to have passed away in Carroll County Indiana her last daughter was born in Indiana and Mary Horines children were Heirs in her fathers will. and Thomas remarried and had 3 more child. Needless to say Mary passed away between 1835 and 1840 she is never found in census. Mary Polly Horine was born Sept. 16 1791 the daughter of Johann Tobias Horine the 2nd and Catherine Summers baptism records of Maryland. There is extensive research on the Horine website and documents that shows this, In Marys fathers will the Patton children are listed as heirs and their gaurden was Ulrey Shively,Ulrey was married to Mary and Thos Pattons daughter I have done lots of research On Mr. Shively. Mary Polly Horine married Thomas Patton March 22 1812 Frederick County Maryland it is listed as Polly Horine and Thomas Pallen, marriage records of Fred.Cty Maryland, Horine website and also info gathered from decendants of this line. Mary and Thomas Patton 1st child George was born 1812 this is info gathered from decendants of George and his wife Magdalina Whissler,whom I have had lots of correspondence with . Mary and Thomas had a son Uriah and there is lots of info on him as he was a minister the same as his brother George in one of the bios Uriah states he was born in 1823 Montgomery County Ohio to Thomas Patton and Mary Horine (not Harn)of Maryland, that he came to Carroll County Indiana with his parents in 1835 and his mother died in 1838 age 47 this fits with what the Horine website claims and his father died abt 1855 age 66. I have been in contact with decendants of Uriah and have lots of stories and doc. for his line. that is how I found Thomas and his 2nd wifes burial ground and also Uriahs which are on Find a grave. I love to hear from any one that has thoughts or suggestions, on the Patton/Patten lines, yet we need to get some valuable proof to change the infor that I have, I donot disregard anything any one tells me I put all info in folders and save it for just in case I get a breakthrew and we can prove the lineage a little better.To all the Patten /Patton researchers feel free to contact me and make suggestions and dont think I am Ignoring you I am not.I put the Patton/En Memorials on line to see where it will take us and to collect more data, It doesnot mean that I am right or wrong!
