  1. Elizabeth Demond (Deming?) Elizabeth was born after the death of William and although born after her marriage to Hillier, the child was by another man. She was born in the summer of 1700 and bapt 25 May 1701 as the illegitimate daughter of Mary Hillyer by ___ Demond; Elizabeth m. 21 Feb 1717/18 Thomas Gleason of Enfield.[3]

  • "To my three sons, William Alderman, junior, John Alderman, and Joseph Alderman, my lands -- two pieces or parcels lying in Simsbury aforesaid. The first is a piece of pine land or plain on the west side of the river, given me by my father, John Case, deceased. The other is five acres of marsh land lying under West Mountain, which fell to me by division of my father's estate. To be equally divided among them.
  • "All my movable estate, except my wearing apparel, I give to my daughter, Elizabeth (Hillyer).
  • "And I appoint my well beloved son, John Alderman, my Executor."
