Grandma Jowell Dead
Mrs. M.J. Jowell, widow of the late J.R. Jowell died last Monday morning and was buried in the city cemetery late that afternoon with Rev. E Dobbs of the Christian Church conducting the religious services at the home. She has been confined to her room for several months, mostly from weakness from old age. She had lived for 70 years.
Three grown sons - J.H. "Bud" Jowell, Charlie Jowell and George Jowell and three grandchildren - Towne Jowell, Virgil Jowell and Miss Ruth Young mourn her death.
