Notes:
"The details of her parents and her Prevot children come from the Church registers of the Protestant Church at Guines, near Calais, as transcribed by W. Minet and W.C. Walter, 1891, and recorded in the book by C. G. Botha: The French Refugees at the Cape, 1919, and the article by M. Boucher, The Cape Huguenots from the Calaisis, in Familia vol.12 no.1, 1975, p.6-17.
In a list of April 1690 she is listed as the wife of Henrik Eekhoff, with four children. G.M.Theal, Chronicles of Cape Commanders, Cape Town, W.A.Richards & Son, Castle Street, 1886m, page 286.
In the Muster Rolls of 1692, as the wife of Louis de Pieromme, still with four children, in 1693 the couple is still listed with four children. Muster Rolls, VC39, vol 1, 1692, p.121, 1693, p.129
In the statement of accounts drawn up after the death of her third husband, Louis de Peronne, and dated 26 January 1697, she is said to have six children, three by her first husband Charles Pruvo, one by her second husband Hendrik Eekhof, and two by her third. Their names are not given.
The inventory of goods drawn up after her death in 1701 lists the names of all six surviving children: Abraham Pruvo, Elizabeth Pruvo, Anna Pruvo, Matthijs Hendrik Eeckhout, Bernardus de Peronne and Maria de Peronne. "

Note from Richard Ball
"In the Muster Rolls of 1692, the year of her marriage to Louis de Peronne, Maria le Febre is listed along with Louis de Pieromme and four children. We know that four of her children born prior to that marriage survived to adulthood so that I have assumed that when, in 1693 the couple is still listed with four children, these are still her four children from previous marriages, three Prevots and one Eekhof (see the notes with Marie Le Febre). [see # below]
In the 1695 muster roll (no date, but likely taken at the end of the year) this couple is listed with five children, a child presumably having been born to the couple since 1693. The 26 January 1697.statement of accounts drawn up after the death of Louis de Peronne, says that there were then two children of the marriage. I have assumed therefore that one child was born before the muster roll of 1695, say in 1694 or 1695, and that the second child was born most probably during 1696. The children are not named.
Their names are given in the inventory of goods drawn up after Marie le Febre's death in 1701 as: Abraham Pruvo, Elizabeth Pruvo, Anna Pruvo, Matthijs Hendrik Eeckhout, Bernardus de Peronne and Maria de Peronne.
I have combined these two pieces of information, taken the order of children as given in that document and assumed that it was Bernardus who was born first and Maria second, but this is only an assumption."
# Notes "She [Marie Prevot} is not mentioned as one of the three surviving children of Charles Prevot in the Inventory drawn up on 26th January 1697, after the death of Louis de Peronne, Maria le Febre's third husband, so she had presumably died before that date."

le Fevre & Prevost in Boucher
Charles Prevost was born about the year 1650 to Henri Prevost and Jeanne de Fief. He came from a village described in the Guines registers as Dombroy, probably Dombrie, near Saint-Amand-les-Eaux, south-east of Lille towards Valenciennes. In 1673 he was working in Dunkirk as a master wheelwright and on October 8 of that year married Marie le Fevre, a year his junior and the daughter of David le Fevre and Elisabeth le Bleu of Marck. As all their children from France were born near Calais, it seems likely that their father left Dunkirk soon after his marriage.
The Prevosts were accompanied on the voyage to the Cape by a son Abraham, who celebrated his ninth birthday at sea, and by two younger daughters, Anne and Elisabeth. A second son Jacob was born on shipboard on May 29, 1688. Abraham was born at Marck on May 24, 1679, Anne in the same village on February 18, 1681 and Elisabeth. in the hamlet of Les Attaques, south of Marck, on October 31, 1683. Two other children died before the departure for the Cape: David, born at Marck on March 10, 1675, and Marie, born at lower Marck on February 10, 1678 and baptized in Calais a week later. Marie’s death is not recorded in the Guines registers, but David died at Marck on February 9, 1685, shortly before his tenth birthday.
Although Charles Prevost came from the Lille region, it would seem that the family was originally from the Calaisis, perhaps from Hames- Boucres, north-west of Guines. There were certainly branches there and in Calais itself. ..
Marie le Fevre had brothers Daniel and David, possibly twins born about the year 1646 and both husbandmen. Daniel married Elisabeth Fournier, a widow ten years his senior from Desvres in the Boulonnais, on November 1, 1676. David was thirty-eight when he married Marie- Claire Tourbier from Artois on November 26, 1684. The mother of the Le Fevre children, Elisabeth le Bleu, remarried Henri Raire and a daughter of this marriage, Marie, became the wife of a widower Jean Liennard, an agriculturalist from the Ardres district, on September 15, 1680. The Liennards were also related to the Prevosts and we shall have occasion to mention them again in connection with the Cape emigration. Elisabeth le Bleu died early in 1678.

Biography
<ref name="text-75H">Jul 31, 2014 by Scholtz-75 | Karina Mulder. Source: Pottas.</ref><ref name=WALL/>
Hy het meer sukses as Eckhoff met die boerdery, miskien omdat hy beter gekwalifiseer was of dalk omrede Marie meer vandie boerdery geweet het as vroeër, of omdat hy jonger was as Eckhoff. <ref name="text-75H">Jul 31, 2014 by Scholtz-75 | Karina Mulder.
