Jean DOUCET was the son of Jean and Marie ROBICHAULT of PortRoyal and Jean DOUCET was son of Charles and Hugette GUERIN. Charles DOUCET came from Germain DOUCET who came to Canada and married at PortRoyal to Marguerite LANDRY. Both died at that place. Marie was daughter of Prudent ROBICHAULT and Henriette PETIPAS; Prudent ROBICHAULT was the son of Charles (from France with his wife) and who settled at Port Royal and died there."

Charles DOUCET came from Germain DOUCET who came to Canada and married at PortRoyal to Marguerite LANDRY. Both died at that place. Marie was daughter of Prudent ROBICHAULT and Henriette PETIPAS; Prudent ROBICHAULT was the son of Charles (from France with his wife) and who settled at Port Royal and died there." ≤/blockquote> ≤/ref> The exact date ofdeath is not known. We know that she lived until at least 1701 since she was on the census. Certain family trees list the following dates for the date of death 26 Oct 1717 or 26 Oct 1719 but no records have been found to support this claim.
