Margaret Lindsay was the daughter of John Lindsay, 1st Lord Lindsay of the Byres and Agnes Stewart.[2],[3]

She married Walter Stewart, 1st Lord Innermeath, son of Sir Robert Stewart, 1st Lord Lorn and Joan Stewart.[1]

She married Henry Wardlow before December 1477.[2] She died on 6 February 1482.[3]

As a result of her marriage, Margaret Lindsay was styled as Lady Innermeath on 30 November 1469.[2]
